1. Information We Collect

Saraf collects the personal information needed to provide an educational account and operate the platform. This may include your email address, display name, login provider details, learning progress, preferences, feedback, selected access plan, payment status, and support messages. Saraf is an education platform; it is not designed to collect diagnostic records or clinical patient files.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to provide account access, remember preferences, show learning progress, respond to support requests, process payments, prevent abuse, measure aggregate product usage, and improve educational content. We do not sell personal information.

3. Data Storage and Security

Account and application data may be stored using Google Firebase and deployed through Vercel. Some media or generated assets may be served through object storage or a CDN. Payment details are processed by Stripe; Saraf does not store full card or bank details on its own servers. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage for login sessions, preferences, accessibility settings, and basic platform functionality. Saraf also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and product usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Service Providers

Saraf currently relies on service providers that may process data for platform operation, including Google Firebase, Google Analytics, Vercel, Stripe, Google AI/Gemini where AI features are explicitly used, email delivery providers, and storage/CDN providers. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can export your learning progress data from your dashboard. Under Malaysian law (Personal Data Protection Act 2010), you have the right to access, correct, and withdraw consent for your personal data.

7. Children's Privacy

Saraf is designed for adults and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
